Story Synopsis
After a series of unexplained disappearances inside the vast Blackwood National Forest, freelance videographer Ryan Mercer joins a small documentary crew investigating the legend of an abandoned firewatch station hidden deep within the woods.
Locals refuse to enter Blackwood after sunset.
Not because of wild animals.
Not because people go missing.
But because of the whistling.
Survivors claim that strange whistles echo through the trees at night — distant at first, almost human, as though someone is searching for you in the dark.
But the deeper you go into the forest…
the closer the whistling gets.
As the crew ventures farther into Blackwood, they discover abandoned campsites, distorted recordings, and trails that seem to move overnight. Trees appear where none existed before. Familiar voices begin calling from the darkness. Maps stop matching the terrain.
And worst of all—
the forest seems to be watching them.
Soon Ryan realizes the horrifying truth hidden beneath Blackwood:
The woods are alive.
Ancient.
Patient.
And learning them one by one.
Because somewhere beyond the shifting trees and endless fog stands the forgotten firewatch tower where something has been waiting for decades.
