Synopsis
Detective Mara Vega, burned out and haunted by a case she couldn’t solve seven years ago, is called to a new nightmare: a famous art curator is found dead inside a hermetically sealed museum vault. The room has no vents, no other doors, and was under continuous video surveillance. The footage shows the curator enter alone, lock the door, sit down… and then, exactly thirteen seconds later, drop dead. No one else entered. No weapon was found. The cause of death is an incision to the carotid artery – but the blood spray pattern suggests the knife came from inside his own hand. As Mara digs deeper, she discovers the victim was investigating an ancient, forbidden mathematical principle called the “Suicide Proof” – a logic trap that forces someone to kill themselves. But who set the trap? And how do you convict a ghost?
