Story Synopsis
After receiving a disturbing voicemail from his younger sister, Elias Ward travels to the isolated mountain town of Valemere, where she vanished while investigating local folklore for a journalism project.
The voicemail contains only three terrified sentences before cutting off:
“They keep smiling at night…”
“Don’t trust the bells…”
“Please don’t come here.”
But when Elias arrives in Valemere, the town seems peaceful.
Too peaceful.
The streets are clean. The people are welcoming. Every resident speaks softly, smiles warmly, and insists his sister chose to stay willingly.
There’s only one problem:
Nobody in town ever says her name.
At night, bells ring deep within the surrounding forest.

As Elias searches for his missing sister, he uncovers the terrifying truth hidden beneath Valemere’s kindness:
