Synopsis
After losing his journalism job in the city, twenty-eight-year-old freelance photographer Adrian Vale buys an old vintage camera from a roadside flea market while traveling through the forgotten town of Bellmere.
At first, the camera seems normal.
Until Adrian develops the photos.
In every picture he takes, a pale teenage girl appears somewhere in the background.
Standing behind strangers.
Watching from windows.
Reflected in mirrors.
Hidden deep within crowds.
And with every new photograph—
she appears closer.
Terrified, Adrian investigates the identity of the mysterious girl and discovers something impossible:
According to police records, the girl died twenty years ago after disappearing during a series of unsolved murders connected to Bellmere.
But the deeper Adrian investigates, the stranger the photographs become. People inside them begin vanishing. Certain images change overnight. And sometimes, the girl appears even in pictures Adrian never took.
Soon Adrian realizes the camera isn’t showing ghosts.
It’s showing truths someone buried long ago.
And the girl in the photographs is trying desperately to lead him toward the one secret Bellmere killed to protect.
